Life with the Comparison Game

I think the comparison game is something that affects all of us. I think it's more of an issue now because of social media. It's definitely something that has touched me a lot recently and something that I'm still working on as a person.
Usually, when I write posts, it's because it's something I have already learned as a person, and this is definitely something I'm still learning. We are all different and unique individuals for a reason. We have all come from different backgrounds. We have experienced different experiences. We have learned different things. We are not meant to be the same person. We are not meant to live the same lives. Whether or not you believe in God, you were created to live a unique life and create your own path. You are who you are for a reason, and there is no reason why you should be comparing yourself to somebody else. Stop comparing yourself. This game is just a means to an end. It's only going to hurt you, and if it's not benefiting you, you don't need it.
My advice for those of you who are also stuck in this comparison game is to remember who you are and why you started. Realign yourself with your goals and what you want in life. Remember where you have come from. We all come from different paths, and although some of us may get to the same place, how you get there impacts you more than where you are; if that makes sense. Don't think that you have to have everything that someone else has because objects shouldn't define who you are. The only person that you can compare yourself to is yourself because that's the only individual that has ever started where you started and experienced what you have experienced.
